Fundación MAPFRE has launched a new edition of the research aid program for an amount of 240,000 euros, aimed at researchers or research teams in the academic and professional field who wish to develop programs independently or within the framework of universities, hospitals, companies or centers to which they are attached.
The Foundation offers its Ignacio H. Larramendi grants, individually endowed with a maximum of 30,000 euros, to promote projects related to health, such as the prevention of obesity and the promotion of physical activity, the assessment of bodily damage, health management and clinical safety, among others.
In this call, those projects that, taking into account the previous thematic lines, incorporate aspects related to COVID-19 such as: reduction of infections, self-care and the culture of self-protection, relationship between previous health status (lifestyle) and morbidity and mortality, COVID-19 and mental health , etc.
The scope of this call is worldwide and projects can be submitted in Spanish, English and Portuguese until October 30, 2020.
