MAPFRE in blood donation activities around the world
Employees of MAPFRE from 21 countries will take part in a blood donation initiative, which in 2016 benefited over 2,000 people.
After the success of the first edition last year, in which over 2,000 people benefited from blood donations from our employees, tomorrow on June 14 we invite you to take part in the second edition of “MAPFRE 24-Hour Donation”.
As part of World Blood Donor Day, MAPFRE promotes this initiative through which employees from all over the world make blood donations over a full day.
On this occasion, 21 countries will take part, 16 of which will organize blood donations, while the rest will arrange talks for employees to raise awareness of the importance of donating.
The blood obtained from the donations will be used to treat a wide range of ailments caused by anemia and different types of cancer, and also for surgical interventions, organ transplants and treatment in the case of accidents, hemorrhage and burns.
The initiative “MAPFRE 24-Hour Donation” is part of our Corporate Volunteering Program and our Healthy Company Model.
