The Awards, held for the first time this year, honour achievements of dynamic corporate companies, SMEs and entrepreneurs in Malta. Nominees included up-and-coming businesses and blue-chip local companies, operating in various sectors, including IT, Banking, Finance, iGaming, Insurance, Aviation, Manufacturing and Maritime.The companies were identified, selected and chosen based on experience, reputation, integrity, quality and trust by a judging panel that was tasked with reviewing and giving a score to all submissions. An independent chairman, marketing consultant David J Dingli, oversaw the judging process and verified the verdict. Winners of the Malta BIB Awards 2015 reflect organisations of all sizes from across the business community. Clients include are Social Media, Technology, IT, Banks, Finance, Trustees & Fiduciary, Banking, Corporate, iGaming, Real Estate, Hospitality, Transport & Logistics, Health & Safety, Marketing, Insurance, Aviation, Maritime, Manufacturing, Industry, etc.
The award ceremony was held at the Verdala Palace on Friday 13th, 2015 and was organised by MBR Publications. The company publishes Malta Business Review – a publication focused on the business community, banking and financial, commercial and economic sector in Malta. President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca and Minister of Finance Edward Scicluna were also present at the event.
The two awards won by MAPFRE Middlesea were received by Assistant General Managers Fernando Docampo and Keith Mallia Milanes.
