For the third consecutive year, a team from MSV Life chose to spend the 19th March, CSR Day, helping out at the Caritas Shelter at San Blas.
The Caritas Shelter at San Blas aims to provide a safe and homely environment for males with a drug abuse problem. It is intended to enable these vulnerable individuals to cease substance abuse, in order to avoid the psychological, physical, financial, legal and social consequences that can be caused, especially by extreme abuse. It also helps by encouraging and guiding these persons to follow the full rehabilitation programme in order to get back on the right track and rebuild their own lives.
Over the past two years, MSV Life organized a number of fund-raising activities in aid of the Caritas Shelter at San Blas. The funds collected were used to improve the facilities at the Shelter. In line with its Corporate Values and Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, MSV Life is committed to continue to support community programmes such as the Caritas Shelter at San Blas.
