MSV Life will be one of the main sponsors of the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts (MCCA) during 2012. The MCCA supports, develops and funds cultural events, activities and art in its diversity – from theatre to dance, and from music, art and literature to photography and digital arts.
The MCCA supports Malta’s major annual festivals, such as Carnival, Ghanafest, the Malta Jazz Festival, Notte Bianca and the Malta Arts Festival. It also encourages Malta’s participation in cultural events overseas and enhances awareness and the standing of the country’s cultural works internationally.
Presenting the sponsorship, Chief Executive Officer at MSV Life, David G. Curmi said “MSV Life is committed to supporting the proliferation of culture and the arts and we are therefore very pleased to be one of the partners of MCCA. Initiatives organized by the MCCA encourage creativity amongst individuals and groups, recognize their potential and help them excel and showcase their work to a wider public audience”.
Davinia Galea, Chief Executive Officer of the MCCA said “we will continue performing our role while seeking to enhance the awareness of the identity and functions of the MCCA. It is thanks to the financial support from companies such as MSV Life that the MCCA may successfully reach its objectives”.
