Fundación MAPFRE, alongside IE University and Fundación EY España, announces the 8th edition of its Social Innovation Awards, aimed at spotlighting impactful projects in three areas: Sustainable Mobility, Health & eHealth, and the Silver Economy. This initiative seeks to empower projects with transformative potential, high social impact, and the capacity to improve lives.
Innovators—including researchers, entrepreneurs, and students from global universities and business schools—are encouraged to submit solutions focused on enhancing mobility and safety, promoting health and wellness, and supporting active aging for people aged 55 to 75. The competition spans four regions: Brazil, Latin America, the USA, and Europe, with each region presenting one finalist per category. A total of 12 finalists will be selected in March 2025.
The Grand Finale in Madrid, set for May 2025, will award €120,000, divided equally among the three category winners, who will also receive expert coaching and public relations support to enhance visibility and refine their projects. Additionally, all finalists are invited to join the Fundación MAPFRE Innova Network, a collaborative community offering resources for project development, networking, training, and visibility.
Proposals are open until November 30 via fundacionmapfre.org.
